Root Canal
Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, disinfects the canal system and seals it so the natural tooth can be retained.
What happens after root canal treatment?
The tooth still needs a secure final restoration. Depending on the remaining healthy tooth structure, cracks and biting forces, this may be a bonded filling, onlay, overlay or crown.
